Yesterday we celebrated your life. You and I met only six or seven year ago and I knew nothing of the person you had been. Today I know how blessed those who did know in those days are. Sleep well little one.

When thinking of Lesley, I remember especially the light of love she brought into Brian’s life in troubled times and the life- long love and joy that they shared.

I have grown up with Lesley and Brian as a constant source of support and as really good friends. Since I have known them, they have always been a close- knit, wonderfully supportive team and I know that Brian will find it very hard to adjust to Life without Lesley. Lesley was always a True Friend: and I couldn’t have asked for a better cousin. From her days on the Last Gasp of the Hippy Trail to her time as a superb Occupational Therapist and Manager at Eastleigh, to her place as Hub of the Community and Postmistress at Landford, Lesley was always a wise support who made a material change in those she spent time with. Lorraine and I have enjoyed many great times of laughter and companionship with Lesley and we have always aspired to be like her and approach life and relationships in the positive, caring and honest way that she did and to laugh in the face of adversity. She will be particularly missed. Especially on Burns’ Night.
